Anxiety & OCD Specialists
…With Expertise Beyond
Because lasting change - and a life well lived - is worth investing in.
Established in 2013, Anxiety & OCD Behavioral Health Center has been voted Best in Mental Health Counseling in the NWI Times every year since the category began in 2021.
Our team of doctoral-level psychologists and master’s-level counselors provides evidence-based therapy for anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), body-focused repetitive behaviors (BFRBs), depression, trauma, and more.
We design treatment to create lasting results for individuals of all ages, using approaches such as Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), disorder-specific Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Parent Management Training (PMT), Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE), executive functioning skills training, and communication skills training.
Let us help you connect with a therapist who meets your needs and is available in-person or online.
Our Services
-
Exposure & Response Prevention (ERP) & Behavioral Activation
Face fears. Build courage. Reconnect with life.
Example: Example: Touch a doorknob without washing—or choose joy when depression says “stay home.”
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Change the thoughts that keep you stuck and learn tools that make daily life easier.
Example: Catching “what-if” thinking before it spirals.
Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Make space for hard emotions and move toward what matters most.
Example: Accepting uncertainty while living with purpose.
-
Executive Functioning Skills Training
For ADHD and related challenges — learn small, practical habits for better focus, time use, and follow-through.
Example: Shrinking big tasks into doable steps or using simple cues to get started.
Communication & Assertiveness Training
Build confidence in your voice and learn to set boundaries without guilt.
Example: Practicing how to say “no” kindly and clearly.
Distress Tolerance & Emotion Regulation Skills
Develop calm-in-the-moment skills so emotions don’t run the show.
Example: Using grounding tools during anxiety or calming after conflict.
-
Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE)
Reduce your child’s anxiety by changing how you respond.
Example: Supporting without rescuing when your child seeks reassurance.
Parent Management Training (PMT) & Family Support
Learn calm, consistent ways to handle tough behaviors and build stronger family communication.
