individual therapy
|
|
Individual therapy is offered for adults, adolescents and children. The therapist and patient work collaboratively in order to achieve the desired treatment goals, using a cognitive behavioral approach. When individual therapy is provided to children and adolescents, it is most commonly combined with parental involvement, which may include family therapy sessions, parent-only sessions, and/or phone consultations with parents when necessary.
